Our commitment
We have zero tolerance for modern slavery, forced labour and human trafficking. Although our turnover sits below the reporting threshold in section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we voluntarily uphold its principles across our own operation and the panel of specialist contractors we work with.
About our service
Bromley Foundation Experts is an independent introducer. We do not employ site labour or carry out subsidence, underpinning or foundation repair work ourselves. We connect homeowners with vetted specialist contractors operating in their area.
What we expect of partner contractors
Every contractor on our panel is expected to:
- Carry out right-to-work checks on all site personnel
- Pay at least the National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage
- Operate within UK working time and health and safety law
- Maintain transparent, written terms of employment
- Source materials from suppliers with equivalent standards
- Refuse any form of forced, bonded, compulsory or child labour
Due diligence
Before adding a contractor to our panel we check company registration, insurance, qualifications and recent work. We periodically review these checks and remove contractors who fail to meet our standards or who do not cooperate with reviews.
Our own people
Anyone we engage directly is paid fairly, employed on transparent terms and free to raise concerns without fear of reprisal.
